Maester Essentials​

  1. Module 1: Maester Fundamentals, what Maester is and how Pester tests map to security controls
  2. Module 2: Identity & Mail Security, Entra ID and Conditional Access baselines, SPF/DKIM/DMARC and anti-phishing policies
  3. Module 3: Device Protection & Reporting, Microsoft Defender basics, EIDSCA/CIS/CISA SCuBA baselines, reading the Maester report, and turning failed checks into a prioritized remediation list

Maester Advanced (Open-Source)​

  1. Module 1: Installing & Configuring Maester in your own tenant
  2. Module 2: Writing Custom Pester Tests to encode your organization's security policies
  3. Module 3: CI/CD & Alerting, GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps, Workload Identity Federation, email alerts for configuration drift, and report output that can be handed to the people responsible for remediation

Maester Advanced (Cloud)​

  1. Module 1: Onboarding Tenants to Maester Cloud
  2. Module 2: Scheduling, Reporting & Alerting
  3. Module 3: Multi-Tenant Management for MSPs and consultants, including consistent baselines, ownership, exceptions and remediation workflows
